OK, day one just officially ended an hour ago for PBB Teen Edition Plus 2008. I'm sure the housemates felt at least a little pressure from spending their first day inside the Big Brother house without TV, a radio, newspapers, and communication. I think I remember there was someone in there who didn't know how to use a cellphone, so that person would probably be the only one not missing texting and calling friends. Anyway, since day one has finished, the housemates have had a little time in getting to know each other, and of course Big Brother didn't waste any time and gave them a game to play so that they could be more easily acquainted with each other.

Today, the housemates played a guessing game in the Big Brother house activity area. They were divided into two teams. The first team, composed of Alex, Nicole, Nan, Priscilla, Jolas, Josef, and Rona, is the Red Team. Then the second team is the Blue Team, composed of Ejay, Kevin, Linda, Beauty, Robi, Jieriel, and Valerie.

The game that they played, basically was a guessing game, where each PBB Teen Plus housemate would be given a flash card containing trivia (information) about another housemate and from that trivia he/she should guess who the other housemate is. So the object of the game obviously is to measure just how much you got to know your fellow teen housemates after the first night of being together. It seemed afterwards that not everybody had been acquainted with each other yet, and so most of the teen housemates had a hard time with the game.

In the end, the Red Team won over the Blue Team with just a one point lead, so you can imagine just how bad that made that Blue Team feel. Well, I have to admit, the game was hard to begin with. Anyway, the teen housemates will have plenty of time to spend with each other as the show progresses so the Blue Team's loss isn't really all bad. But a punishment will still be given to Ejay, Kevin, Linda, Beauty, Robi, Jieriel, and Valerie because they are the losers, of course.

Like I said earlier, the Pinoy Big Brother house has reopened yesterday and with that the PBB Teen Edition Plus housemates have been revealed. Down from a total of 30 PBB Teen Edition Plus audition finalists, the housemates were narrowed down to thirteen (13) lucky teens coming from different parts of the Philippines and even from some international cities.

Here's a quick summary of who the new PBB Teen Edition Plus housemates are.

PBB Teen Edition Plus Housemate: Josef Elizalde from Mandaluyong
"Lethal La Sallitte"

This guy is a "chick-magnet" from La Salle and he is one of the two "Plus" housemates added in to the PBB Teen Edition Plus mix. He is 16 years old, lives in Mandaluyong, and is some kind of a rebel. I'm sure a lot of girls will be cheering for this guy. Especially those who like "bad boys."

This guy is the complete opposite of Josef (above) because all of the girls he has ever courted so far have dumped him, he's a shy-type kind of guy and from his looks, obviously a "good boy." He's 16 years old and lives in QC.

Jolas says he joined PBB Teen Edition Plus so that he could redeem his father's trust and enjoy the fruitful father-and-son relationship that they once had. He also dreams of becoming a professional basketball player. Don't we all?

Hmm, this girl looks awfully familiar. And no, I'm not talking about the distinct possibility that we could be far relatives. I'm talking about her face... she kinda looks like that girl from the nineties. Oh well, she's a beauty in her own right, I guess. She's a rebellious little girl (16 years old) who apparently always gets what she wants. And those who stop her are destroyed (It says here).

OK, did you know how fat this girl was before she was officially unveiled to the country in PBB Teen Edition Plus's very first episode. Take my word for it, she was not as sexy as she is right now. My hat's off to her for being disciplined enough to lose that much weight. Plus she's got the biggest smile I've ever seen. The question is, how long will this smile of hers last?

Rona Libby is a "girl genius" and former beauty pageant winner whose father is in jail right now for an undisclosed crime. I don't know how joining PBB Teen Edition Plus would be able to help her free her father but one thing I know is that she is a prisoner now herself. Thanks to the Big Brother house. Don't you agree?
